The Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Pro: Two originals, reborn
First introduced in 1996, the Nike Air Foamposite was built for full-court performance and modern style with soft, lightweight cushioning and futuristic design detail. Today, a stitch-free construction and sleek, rubber sole makes the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Pro Low Men's Shoe as popular as the original and a revolutionary blend of two iconic styles.

Air Force 1 Origins
Transcending foot coverage since 1982, this once hoops shoe was named after Air Force One-the aircraft that carries the President of the United States. It was the first basketball shoe to house Nike Air, revolutionizing the game for players like Moses Malone and Charles Barkley while rapidly gaining traction around the world, from the hardwood to the blacktop to the core of hip-hop culture. Today the Air Force 1 stays true to its roots with soft, springy cushioning and a massive midsole, but the Air technology takes a back seat to the shoe's status as an icon.
Nike broke all the rules of traditional shoe creation when it built the first Nike Air Foamposite, an innovative design with an upper and sole made of the same synthetic material and absolutely no stitching-a feat that some deemed impossible. Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway immediately adopted the shoe when he caught a glimpse of it while working with Nike designers. After Penny's endorsement, it wasn't long before college players jumped on the bandwagon. The Nike Air Foamposite became the most unique shoe on the hardwood in 1997.
