General Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. You will be asked to read and accept the terms and conditions each time you place an order. We recommend that you print a copy of these terms and conditions for your future reference, or that you download them.

Before you complete an order, you will be asked to accept these general terms and conditions. You will acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these General Terms & Conditions.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

1. Foot Locker's contract with you – general ordering information

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase goods from us. Our Order Acknowledgement e-mail is simply an acknowledgement that your order has been received by Foot Locker. Acceptance of your order will take place only at the moment that Foot Locker dispatches the goods to you. Shipment and delivery will be confirmed to you by e-mail. Confirmation is subject to availability of goods.

By completing and submitting the Order Form, you grant Foot Locker the authority to conduct credit searches and run some checks. These checks may include verifying your address, checking for fraud and credit worthiness.

Foot Locker is entitled not to accept your order or to withdraw from any contract, based on justified reasons. Some of the situations in which we may do so are:

  • obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on Foot Locker's site;
  • exceptional unavailability of product;
  • your billing information is not correct or not verifiable;
  • we have reason to believe that your order may be fraudulent
  • we could not deliver at the address provided by you
  • Suspicion of credit or debit card fraud.
To help us prevent fraud, any given order may not exceed an amount of EUR 1,000.

2. Eligibility to order goods
You may only purchase from Foot Locker online if you are aged 16 years or over and use a shipment address in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and France. You will need an active e-mail address and a telephone number at which you can be easily contacted.

3. Pricing and availability
3.1. The prices and availability of the goods are specified on the Foot Locker site. Such information is subject to change without notice. Prices relate to internet purchases only.

3.2. All prices and charges on this site are in EURO. They include any VAT payable, but exclude delivery charges. Applicable delivery charges are clearly mentioned on line. In the unlikely event that goods are unavailable or that Foot Locker needs to vary the price due to supplier price increases, tax changes or site errors for example, Foot Locker shall send you a notification by e-mail and shall allow you the opportunity to cancel your order without cost.

3.3 Not all goods and promotions that are offered by Foot Locker online, will be available in store, and vice versa. Moreover, you may find differences in prices between online goods and different local stores.

4. Delivery of goods
Foot Locker shall deliver the goods ordered to the delivery address which you supply. All delivery times quoted on the Foot Locker site are estimates only, based on availability, normal processing and delivery time. Please note that delivery estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed delivery times and should not be relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any products you order turn out to be unavailable.

All deliveries must be signed for upon receipt. You bear the risk for the goods once the items have been signed for. Title to the goods will pass to you on payment in full.

8. Product description
We attempt to be as accurate as possible when describing products on the website. However, to the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content available on the website are accurate, complete, reliable, error-free.
Moreover, buying goods over the internet provides a different shopping experience from buying in store. Colours, shapes and sizes of goods may differ in real life from how they appear online.

9. Foot Locker Guarantee: Cancellation right/Returns Policy
At Foot Locker, we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally, though, we know you may want to return items.

OUR RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY
This Returns and Exchange Policy applies to all items bought online. Nothing in this Returns and Exchange Policy shall affect your statutory rights.
1. Canceling orders/statutory withdrawal right

1.1 Cancellation before shipment
You may cancel any order free of charge and without giving any reason, provided that it has not yet been shipped. If you have submitted an order and wish to cancel, please check the status of your order by viewing your order detail on the website, or by contacting customer service. If the status of your order is "Pending" or "On Hold", we may still be able to cancel your order without cost. Please contact our Customer Service Line at 0800 331 6062 to check whether such cancellation is still possible. If possible, you will be instructed to go online and complete the cancellation form or fax/email written cancellation.

If cancellation was not possible, the products will be delivered to you, but you can refuse them upon delivery. The products will then be returned to us, and we will refund the purchase price of the order.

1.2 Statutory cancellation/withdrawal right
Foot Locker respects the Dutch as well as the European Distance selling Regulations, which grant customers in Europe a right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days after the day the item has been delivered.

You can cancel all or part of the order. To cancel your purchase within the fourteen days period, you need to send a written cancellation notice either via email to questions_en@footlocker.eu or via our website at www.footlocker.eu and complete the online cancellation form. You must clearly specify which item(s) you wish to cancel.

The cancelled items should be unused, undamaged, complete and in their original packaging. They should be returned to Foot Locker within 10 days following the cancellation, through UPS. We will refund the purchase price for the cancelled item, as well as the initial shipment charge. However, you will be charged with the cost of the return shipment. Since the cost for the return shipment is equal to the cost for shipping you the goods, we will not refund the shipping charge you originally paid.

2. Returning an item if you are not satisfied with your purchase
Your complete satisfaction is important to Foot Locker! If you are not satisfied with the products you ordered, you may return them within 28 calendar days after delivery, without giving a reason, as long as:

  • The products are not used in any way;
  • The products are in their original packaging, in a resalable and undamaged condition and complete : e.g. both items of a pair must be returned.
Do not remove tags or labels when you try on our products. We do not accept returned items unless they are in the same condition in which they were delivered to you.

If you ordered multiple items, you can return any of the items individually or in combination.

Foot Locker reserves the right to refuse items that are returned after the 28 days period or that are not in the same condition you received them in.

3. Returning Defective or non conforming items
You can return or exchange products purchased online if they are defective, faulty, described incorrectly, not of satisfactory quality or not in conformity with your order.

Regrettably, mistakes in an order can occur. In case of incomplete or faulty orders, the returned items must be in their original packaging, and in unused and resalable condition. PLEASE NOTE: the Foot Locker Customer Service desk must be notified of any discrepancy with your order within 2 months from the receipt of your order (phone line #0800 331 6062 or email us at questions_en@footlocker.eu).

Upon returning an item, please indicate the reason for your return and description of the defect. Justified defective or faulty items will be fully reimbursed, including the shipment charges.

To get more details on how to process a return/exchange, please go to www.footlocker.eu and access our Customer Service pages.

We want to point out that Foot Locker will not exchange or refund if the items show signs of damage not the result of a manufacturing fault. This applies to accidental, malicious and other wearer related damage. Examples of accidental, malicious and wearer related damage include, but are not limited to:

  • Signs of misuse, excessive wear or inappropriate care.
  • Shoes washed by machine and dried by excessive heat.
  • Cut marks on stitching, seams or uppers.
  • Punctured airbags.
  • Signs of extreme damage.
  • Knowingly purchased small fitting shoes.
  • Fabric that has been stained.
  • Material decomposition due to prolonged dampness/wetting.

4. Exchanges
Foot Locker would be pleased to exchange an item if you so wish. Exchanges are subject to availability. To make an exchange, go to www.footlocker.eu and fill in the exchange form. Please specify which item(s) you wish to exchange and the reason code(s).

You will be prompted to place a new order for your replacement. The payment for your new order will be processed upon completion of the order. The reimbursement of the initial purchase price will be processed upon receipt and handling of the returned items.

In the unfortunate event that an exchange item would not be available, we will process a refund upon receipt of your returned items.

The item(s) you wish to exchange should be returned to us within 28 calendar days upon receipt of the merchandise. If we do not receive your return items(s) within that period, we are unable to process the exchange.

How to return or exchange an item: There are 3 ways in which you can arrange an exchange and/or return:

  • ONLINE RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
Go to www.footlocker.eu and complete the indicated fields. You must specify what items you wish to return or exchange and, if applicable, fill in the relevant reason code.
  • CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • If you wish to ship back an item, you can also call Customer Service at 0800 331 6062. Please have your order number at hand and specify which item(s) you want to return. Our Helpdesk staff will walk you through all the steps of the returns and exchange process.
  • Please package the relevant item(s) securely in a box, bag or carton that protects the merchandise, or wrap it within its original container. Be certain to properly tape and seal the carton or bag. Ship the relevant item(s) back using the return label which accompanied your shipment or return to the website and print off a return label. You will have to key in your order number to print off a return label. This order number is located on your invoice. If you do not have a printer, you can call our Customer Service Line and they can either mail or fax a return shipping label.
  • When your shipment is ready for pick up, simply contact UPS to organize collection at 084 57 877 877. Have the UPS driver print his name and sign the signature portion of your return label. Retain this for your records. This signature confirms that UPS received the product in case of discrepancy. You may keep track of your return delivery with the UPS Tracking Number that is on the label
  • STORE RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
Save on return shipment charges by returning your product to any Foot Locker store.
Foot Locker has several stores in Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany and France, so returning an item to a store is easy. Simply take the relevant items to your local store along with the invoice which accompanied your shipment as well the e-mail confirmation you received upon placing your order, and our staff will be happy to assist you further.
  • Click here to find a store location. The store will either refund or exchange the goods. You will be refunded at the price you paid for the goods at the time of your order. All refunds will be issued in the original method of payment. In case you paid by credit card, you must bring the same credit card to the store.

5. Refunding your money
We will refund the purchase price as soon as reasonably possible, within the statutory deadline. Products must however be verified by Foot Locker before the refund can be issued. All refunds will be as per the original method of payment. Refund times depend on the payment method used when placing the order. Foot Locker will process your refund within 3 to 10 working days. However, please be aware that the speed of the funds appearing in your accounts depends solely with your card issuer. It may vary and can take up to 8 weeks. Example:
If your refund is made on the 10th or 15th of the month, you will then see the funds in your account at the end of the next month.
As previously stated, that depends solely with your card issuer.

The refund will include the cost of the returned goods, and in the case of defective goods and faulty deliveries, as well as in case of the execution of your cancellation right (see art.9 above), the original delivery fee.

We may deduct any charges for your failure to take reasonable care of the goods.

6. Taking reasonable care of the goods
You agree to take reasonable care of the goods from the time that they are delivered to you until the time that they are returned. Examples of a failure to take reasonable care of goods may include visible wear, dirt stains, etc. or failure to properly repack the product.

If Foot Locker believes that the resale of your return goods will not be possible due to damage while in your care, incomplete returns or failure to take reasonable care of the goods, you agree that we may withhold payment of all or part of the refund in respect of the goods as compensation for our losses on such goods.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
